Its one helicopter page sells Air Maui and Blue Hawaiian seats plus a fly-there, drive-back Hāna combo, quotes agency rates with tax and fuel surcharge included, and adds a few paragraphs of advice. It suits travelers who want to phone a person and hold four or five Maui activities at once. It is not the place to compare every route and operator side by side, and it does not sell doors-off from anyone but Air Maui.

What adventuremaui.com actually is

The site describes itself as a free reservations service for Maui tours and activities. The footer names the operator as HawaiiTravelandTours.com LLC and lists a Hawaii activity desk licence (AD-852) and a travel agency licence (TAR-6395). The mailing address is a PO box in Kahului, and the about page says every staff member is a salaried Hawaii resident rather than a commissioned agent. The same company runs adventureinhawaii.com, its all-islands site.

So the business model is plain: the operators pay the desk, the desk books you, and the customer pays no fee. That is the same model as a hotel concierge, with the difference that this desk claims to answer the phone from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hawaii time. Nothing on the site is independent editorial; every recommendation ends in a "Reserve now" form.

A Sunshine Helicopters section still exists in the page code but is commented out and invisible, which matches the fact that sunshinehelicopters.com no longer serves an operator site. Maverick Helicopters, which does fly from the Kahului Heliport, is absent; so is any table that puts the three brands next to each other.

For Blue Hawaiian the site warns that payment is taken in full when the operator confirms the slot. Front-seat upgrades are offered during that process, with a combined-weight cap on the pair. Two things on adventuremaui.com are worth reading even if you book elsewhere. The first is its plain-language note on comfort seats: helicopters price a full cabin, so a passenger who needs the space of two seats pays for two, and the rule exists for weight-and-balance as much as for revenue. The second is its Air Maui weight paragraph, which matches Air Maui's own FAQ: on doors-on flights an extra seat is required over 240 lb for one passenger or 420 lb for a couple, and on doors-off flights over 230 lb or 400 lb combined.
